owning a few tool, I can tell you that VVDI usually copy others solutions and make their own with them.
so 100% clone without opening? it will be a guess everytimes I think. even microtronik or AVDI corrupt DME sometimes.
I would have decent fate that most DME they say it makes, you might be able to copy eeprom (D-flash), but flash will be a guess (P-flash).
I might order one of those cable just to test and see if they seems reliable. here is a cheaper link (with more details on cable construction) with no connector for DME.
if someone else have a try, let us know what it could or could not do on what DME type!
