Critical Low Battery Nitro 5 AN515-55-57C4
I bought an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-57C4 from the official Acer eBay page 3 days ago and finally got the laptop today. I turn it on to set up and charge the laptop and everything is fine then a few minutes later it says the laptop is not charging then it turns off and says it is in Critical Low Battery. I am using the charger I got in the box and I haven’t played any games on it yet. Here is the link to the page of where I bought it from for more info.

If the battery is completely drained out then you will be getting the message «Critical low battery». Please make sure that before the battery gets drained out completely try to connect the charger cable and start charging the laptop.
Please connect the charger to laptop and turn on the computer. It will charge the battery and once it is completely charged start using it.
It might also be the issue with battery, charger or power outlet. Try to use the charger in a different room on a different power outlet. Try to bypass the surge protector and connect it directly to power outlet. Try to use an alternative charger if possible. Try to turn on the computer without the charger and check it ( as long as the battery is not drained out )
I am really sorry for the inconvenience.. Let us do the basic steps first..
Doing the power drain and bios defaults will really help. Kindly follow the steps given below:
Turn off the laptop. Disconnect or unplug the charger cable, devices or any other cables connected to your laptop. Close your laptop. Turn it upside down. On the bottom of the laptop, you can find a pin hole. It is a tiny hole. You can a find a battery symbol indicator next to the hole. It is like a + and — sign symbol as though somebody is trying to shift the battery out. Insert the pin on to the hole for 30 seconds. Remove the pin. Flip the laptop. Connect the charger cable, turn on the computer. Only on laptops where the battery is inbuilt you can find the battery reset hole on the back of laptop.
If you don’t find a pin hole on the back of laptop then you might be using removable battery. There is no need to unscrew anything to remove the battery. Turn off the laptop. Disconnect or unplug the charger cable, devices and any other cables connected to your laptop. Close your laptop. Turn it upside down. On the bottom of the laptop, please look at the top or bottom depending on the way you look at it. You can find a long door. It is a battery removable door. Just below that you can find a latch. If you move the latch you can remove the battery door. Once the battery is removed, flip the laptop. Open the top cover, press and hold the power button for 1 minute. Connect the battery back on the back of computer. Connect the charger cable back and then turn on the computer.
If you don’t see a reset pin hole on the back of laptop or if you are not able to remove the battery (if it is inbuilt) then please unplug all the cables and devices out of laptop. Hold the power button for 1 minute. After releasing the button you should wait a while before plugging in power. Just because the button has been pressed doesn’t bleed off all the residual electricity on the motherboard. Wait 15-30 minutes before plugging in power. Then once power is connected wait for a full battery indication before turning the system on. That allows the battery to fully reset it’s internal statistics.
Connect all the cables back and restart the computer.
While turning on the computer, tap f2. It will go to bios. Press f9 once. It will show load bios defaults with a yes or no popup. Press enter. Popup screen will disappear. Press f10 once. It will show save changes popup with yes or no. Press enter. Computer will restart and it will load into windows.

Не заряжается батарея для ноутбука ACER
Убедитесь, что Блок Питания (БП) действительно подключен в розетку, что нет перелома кабеля и оголённых проводов. Возможные причины:
- Перегрев батареи. Если при работе ноутбука температура АКБ выходит за установленную системой отметку, контроллер заряда ноутбука в целях безопасности, принудительно отключает её. Для подтверждения этой проблемы, следует подождать, пока батарея остынет, и заряд снова пойдёт.
- Неверная инициализация батареи (Только для съемных батарей):
Выключите ноутбук / Отключите кабель зарядки / Отсоедините батарею / Зажмите кнопку включения на ноутбуке в течение 20 секунд / Подключите батарею обратно / Подключите БП ноутбука / Включите ноутбук. - Драйверы ACPI и чипсет ACER. Это проблема с управлением энергоснабжением ноутбука:
- Зайдите в диспетчер устройств (нажав WIN+R, вбейте «devmgmt.msc» для Windows7, либо правый клик по «Пуск» в Windows10/8).
- В строке «Батареи» проверьте наличие пункта «Батарея с ACPI совместимым управлением Microsoft».
- Щёлкните правой кнопкой мыши по пункту «удалить»
Ноутбук ACER не показывает зарядку батареи
Это может произойти, если на него установлены дополнительные (сторонние) программы, которые не до конца отлажены своим разработчиком. Например, в нижней, правой части экрана есть стандартная форма слежения за уровнем заряда батареи Windows.
Но по своей воле или по незнанию Вы могли подтвердить установку схожей утилиты, с дополнительными функциями. И даже подумать не могли, что это может стать проблемой.
Чтобы вернуть все как было, заходим «Пуск»/»Все приложения»/»Панель Управления»/»Программы и компоненты»
Находим в списке проблемную программу и нажимаем «удалить». Не «изменяем», а с концами удаляем её с Вашего ПК. Сразу же должна заработать официальная программа, это можно увидеть в привычном месте снизу слева в трее. Батарея должна Вновь заработать, сбой устранен!
Не заряжается новая батарея ACER
В данной ситуации стоит сразу же связаться с продавцом/установщиком. Следовать его инструкциям, так как батарея на гарантии. Нередко помогает несанкционированное отключение батареи (во время работы ноутбука от АКБ). Если же не помогло – то, вероятнее всего, это сбой в работе контроллера батареи, либо несовместимость. Придётся отправлять на диагностику.
Батарея ACER не заряжается на 100%
- Это возможно, если сам ноутбук ограничивает заряд батареи до 100%. Производители уверены, что такое ограничение полезным образом влияет на срок службы элементов питания. (Этот режим можно отключить : Пуск / Все программы / Управление питанием / Службы батареи).
- Либо необходим сброс настроек BIOS:
- При загрузке ноутбука зажмите Del+Esc либо Del+2
- Найдите в списке строку Load BIOS Default.
- Выделите «Y» и подтвердите сброс, нажав «Enter».
Разрядилась батарея на ноутбуке ACER и не заряжается больше
- Неисправна батарея: выход из строя элементов питания или контроллера батареи (будет гореть индикатор заряда, но проценты заряда расти не будут). Решение: замена батареи, либо замена нерабочих элементов .
- Выход из строя блока питания, переломился кабель. (Ноутбук не будет отображать подключенный БП, и заряжать батарею не будет). Замена БП
- Запыленность ноутбука, либо перегрев могут блокировать заряд батареи. Обратитесь в сервис – его почистят от загрязнений и заменят термопасту.
